Katarina and Kell rode back to Valhale side by side. At that single point in her life, she knew her mother and father were smiling down on her from Valhalla along with the other gods. She too smiled as she looked over at Kell and finally began to see what it was he saw when he looked back at her. She had gained the respect of her clan as their leader in life; she had gained the trust of her fellow warriors as their leader in battle; she had become a woman of power, strength, and determination, and her legend would live in infamy.
